Lots of exciting things are happening in The Oaks right now as we BREAK GROUND on THREE new homes! One is already SOLD but TWO are STILL AVAILABLE and will be ready for color selections soon! If you would like to know more about either of these homes, please give us a call directly at (580) 917-2706.
Because all our new homes are located inside the city limits, they must adhere to a strict set of building codes enforced by The City of Lawton. Over the next few months, I am going to be publishing a series of posts about the different building inspections our homes undergo throughout the construction process. Due to our clay soil and high winds, it is crucial to invest in a home that is designed to stand up to the unique elements of Southwest Oklahoma. City inspections cover every phase of the construction process to include but not limited to: building plans, foundation, framing, grading of lot to ensure proper drainage, electrical, plumbing, finishing fixtures and much more! This requires a lot of work for the builder but gives the buyer peace of mind. If a builder wants to take the easy route, they will build a home outside the city limits because they do NOT have to adhere to any of these codes. NO inspections are required and anyone can build anything they want. After a home is finished, nothing under the surface can be inspected and major issues can arise that could end up costing you thousands of dollars. The only way to truly know what you are investing in is to have a home built to code and verified by a qualified, unbiased third party throughout every phase of the construction process. That is exactly what you will get in The Oaks!
Building a new home is a SCIENCE and having a QUALIFIED BUILDER to oversee the project is crucial. Ron Nance, has been building homes in Lawton since 1985 and is a Certified Professional Builder by The Oklahoma State Home Builders Association. Give us a call at (580) 917-2706 if you’d like to stop by and tour any of our finished new homes or talk about what we can build for you this year!
