Ron Nance has been an integral part of the Lawton, Oklahoma and national business community for the past forty years.  Nance began his career in residential Real Estate in Lawton at the age of 18. He then moved into commercial real estate and earned the prestigious CCIM designation. After a successful ten-year tenure leasing and selling commercial real estate investments to others, Nance began investing for his own account. Those investments proved to be very successful and he used those successes to catapult himself into many more investments all revolving around real estate.

Nance has been building new homes in Lawton since 1985. He now owns and operates The Oaks Development Company and Ron Nance Commercial Construction. In 2008, Nance began developing The Oaks, Lawton's finest new home community. The Oaks is known as the premier location for new luxury homes in Lawton, OK. Nance has a diverse skill set that ranges from starting with raw farmland and finishing with complete high end residential and commercial communities. This serves him well when building projects for others.  Nance's companies perform all phases including building streets, roads, utilities, high end homes, retail and office buildings.

Ron Nance’s construction business has blossomed into one of Southwest Oklahoma's largest. Nance has positioned himself to take advantage of growth opportunities and owns enough land serviced by city infrastructure, to develop and build 1,500 homes in SW Lawton.  Nance has been repeatedly featured on national media outlets including ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition when he built a home in Lawton for Sgt. Gene Westbrook. As one of the leading home builders in Oklahoma, Nance has maintained the highest standards for quality in both construction and customer service. Nance takes pride in developing neighborhoods where his customers feel right at home.

Nance owns and operates a number of different businesses revolving around real estate as well, including a buffalo ranch that has had as many as 1,500 buffalo running on 5,500 acres of prime Oklahoma ranch land.  Today Nance contributes to the Buffalo industry with his gourmet meat business and the breeding of very rare and high quality Black Buffalo.  He also has taken an active interest in the community and the organizations in which he has been involved include past positions as a Lawton City Councilman, President of the Lawton Home Builders Association, Oklahoma Bison Association President, Director of the National Bison Association and Lawton Airport Authority Board Member. He is currently an active member of the Board of Directors of Southwestern Medical Center, Board Member of the Lawton Homebuilders Association, Board Member of the Lawton Economic Development Authority and the Lawton Fort Sill Economic Development Corporation.

Whitney has a great eye for timeless design and is involved in the construction process of the new homes in Lawton from design to completion. Whitney focuses on working closely with customers before and after the sale to ensure they find the perfect home to fit their lifestyle.

Nance’s wife Susan is a retired teacher from Lawton Public Schools. They have two grown children, Whitney and Brennan, a granddaughter, and a son-in-law, Adam Perry. Brennan is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. He is employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and owner of Brennan Nance Visuals.
